I don’t know about you, but sometimes making a nutritious meal that everyone will love is just not easy.

Everyone has their issue with your meal – “I don’t like that!” “It’s green!” “It’s stinky!” “I want pizza!” Yes, those are all things I’ve heard about healthy meals I’ve tried to make, even from adults!

Well, now I hear this less often because my family doesn’t even know what I’ve done! Thanks to the Pampered Chef, I’ve been slipping extra kale and chicory root into some of our meals and my kids and in laws can’t tell the difference! Want to know my secret?

Enrichables™ – These little packets of awesome are brand new from the Pampered Chef and are available through a regular, one time purchase, or via subscription! I love that this option exists now, as it’s definitely new for us! You simply add a packet to a meal you’re already making and it works like magic. Or science. Or both!

Here’s what the Pampered Chef has to say about these little beauties:

In spite of our best intentions, sometimes our go-to meals could benefit from a little more. What if we could eat better without abandoning the recipes we love? Enrichables lets you enrich your favorite family meals with 10 g of protein, or kale powder with 8 g of fiber. Simply add and stir to give a boost to your favorite meal.

Order Enrichables as a one-time purchase or subscription with free shipping.

You can be sure this product is: Vegan, Soy Free, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Dairy Free, and Made Without Nuts!

The most success I have seen so far with these is when I mix the kale and fiber packets into ground beef. It looks like an herb-y spice mixture, which I use all the time, and no one questions the color! Shepherd’s pie and spaghetti are frequent meals around here, and that’s where they’ve been hidden! Other good places to use these babies are in shakes, soups, sauces, spreads, pasta, rice, batters, doughs, and more! Get creative!

The next way I’ll be utilizing these will be in “green smoothie popsicles”. I am planning to use a packet of each and making several of these at a time so my kids can have east, nutritious lunches. I will write a post about that as soon as it actually happens!
